Spirals

ambient music, wound from the center

Slow pieces, each one also drawn: its sound measured moment by moment and laid down as a single line, growing outward like a ring in a tree.

the pieces

The first field notes are still being written.

Long forms, slow change, music for the edge of a room.

Recorded places, composed lightly.

Where the image, the process or the score belongs to the piece.

Tape, oscillators, and the old strangeness of the studio.

The Green Man is a face made of leaves: something human, grown over.
